To answer this question, the CSR Student Movement is organising our annual CSR Awareness Week around the theme of "CSR Through Thick and Thin".          Nurturing Social Entrepreneurs


Introduction

NUS Corporate Social Responsibility Students movement is collaborating with Ethicorp Private

Limited to organize a workshop on the ways by which the NUS students can become CSR

ambassadors. The two-part program hopes to leave the NUS Students inspired and committed

towards being a CSR ambassador dedicated to leading initiatives that will create heightened

awareness of the need for organizations to adopt a more socially responsible attitude within

their environment. There are two session is specially tailor-made for the NUS students:

Session 1: Seminar
Date: October 8, 2009 (this thursday!!)
Time: 630-830 PM
Free of cost!!

Session 2: Workshop
Date: October 11,2009 (sunday)
Time 10 30- 5 00 PM
Venue: Seminar Room 2, Shaw Foundation Alumni House
Fee: Only 5 SGD including food and materials for the workshop!


Speaker's Porfolio:

Mr. Rahul Shah, CEO, Ethicorp Private Limited Rahul Shah is a young entrepreneur who

started his first venture at age 21. In 2008, he founded his second company, EthiCorp

Pte Ltd, along with 4 other partners. Rahul has been an observer of corporate Ethics and

staunch preacher for action and long term results oriented socially responsible corporate

practices and initiatives. He believes that when a company or organisation develops a

business model that is not singularly commerce oriented but instead adopts a dual bottom

line policy of commerce AND society advancement, it creates a win-win situation with

tangible rewards for all involved. He is due to release his book on CSR in the next few

months. The itinerary for the day have be organised as follows:


10 00 – 10 25 Registration of the participants
10 30- 12 30 Morning Session
12 30- 13 00 Lunch Break
13 00 – 15 30 Afternoon Session
15 30- 15 45 Tea Break
15 45 – 17 00 closing session
